Công ty Cổ phần Thủy điện Hủa Na là chủ đầu tư Dự án Nhà máy thủy điện Hủa Na trên thượng nguồn Sông Chu thuộc địa phận xã Đồng Văn, huyện Quế Phong, tỉnh Nghệ An, cách thành phố Vinh khoảng 180km.
Đây là dự án nằm trong chương trình trọng điểm phát triển Kinh tế – Xã hội, An ninh năng lượng của Quốc gia nói chung và tỉnh Nghệ An nói riêng. Được Thủ tướng Chính phủ cho phép đầu tư trong văn bản số 129TTg-CN ngày 19 tháng 01 năm 2006, Công ty cổ phần thủy điện Hủa Na là Chủ đầu tư xây dựng dự án theo văn bản số 3143/VPCP-CN ngày 08 tháng 06 năm 2007 của Văn phòng Chính phủ, với hình thức đầu tư: Xây dựng – Vận hành – Sở hữu (BOO).
